Does Google Docs have an MCP server?

Add it from the terminal, then restart your session:

claude mcp add --transport http googledocs https://docsmcp.googleapis.com/mcp/v1

Add --scope user to make it available in every project.

1. Open Settings → Connectors
2. Click Add custom connector
3. Paste https://docsmcp.googleapis.com/mcp/v1
4. Finish the sign-in prompt, then enable it in the chat's tools menu

Add to .cursor/mcp.json in your project, or ~/.cursor/mcp.json for every project:

A green dot in Settings → MCP means it connected.

Then pick the server from the tools menu in Copilot's agent mode.

1. Enable Developer mode under Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced
2. Choose Create and paste https://docsmcp.googleapis.com/mcp/v1
3. Complete sign-in, then enable the connector in a new chat
